Innovation in intermodal containers caused a revolution in international trade in the middle of the last century. The use of intermodal containers in logistics delivery verification has changed paradigms in recent decades. The use of containers allows the use of different modes of transport without transhipment. With containers, it is possible to save time and money.

Intermodal transport involves the use of different types of transport. This type of transport is an extremely good choice, especially for moving loads over long distances. In logistics, intermodal or ISO containers are key to achieving geostrategic goals while maintaining and improving the operation of the entire chain life.

Universal or a standard or intermodal container, also known as an ISO container, is a large standardized container intended to store goods in combined (intermodal) transport. So, therefore, transport involving transhipment by different means of transport by road, rail and shipping. Standardization has increased efficiency and offers to use the same infrastructures to handle a variety of goods. In aviation, lighter, t.i. ULD aluminium containers. TEU (eleven. Equivalent unit of twenty feet) is a unit for marking the capacity of container ships and container terminals. It is based on a volume of 20 foot long containers.
